Canceling or Rescheduling a Service
Life happens. Here's how to cancel or reschedule your service.
To Reschedule a Service:
1. Go to your Dashboard
2. Find the service you want to reschedule
3. Click "Reschedule"
4. Choose a new date and time
5. Confirm with your Pro
To Cancel a Service:
1. Go to your Dashboard
2. Find the service you want to cancel
3. Click "Cancel Service"
4. Select your cancellation reason
5. Confirm cancellation
Cancellation Fees:
Our cancellation policy protects both customers and Pros:
- More than 24 hours before service: Free cancellation
- Less than 24 hours before service: May incur a cancellation fee
- No-show (without canceling): Full service charge
Why We Have Cancellation Fees:
Pros reserve time for your service and may turn down other work. Late cancellations prevent them from filling that time slot.
Pro-Initiated Cancellations:
If your Pro needs to cancel:
- You'll be notified immediately
- No charges will apply
- We'll help you find another Pro
- You may receive a credit for the inconvenience
Weather-Related Cancellations:
For outdoor services affected by severe weather:
- Either party can request to reschedule
- No cancellation fee applies
- Reschedule to the next available day
How to Avoid Cancellation Fees:
- Cancel as early as possible
- Communicate with your Pro
- Consider rescheduling instead
- Be sure of your availability before booking
