Getting Started
Two Ways to Sign Up:
1. Through the Website:
- Visit royalpalmservices.com
- Click "Sign Up" in the top right
- Choose account type (Customer or Pro)
- Follow the registration steps
2. Through the Mobile App:
- Download the Royal Palm app (iOS or Android)
- Open the app
- Tap "Create Account"
- Complete registration
Account Types
Customer Account:
- Book and manage services
- Find and hire Pros
- Track service history
- Leave reviews
- Manage payments
Pro Account:
- Provide services to customers
- Set your own rates
- Manage your schedule
- Receive payments
- Build your business
Note: You'll need separate accounts if you want to be both a customer and a Pro.
Creating a Customer Account
Step 1: Basic Information
Provide your details:
- First Name - Your legal first name
- Last Name - Your legal last name
- Email Address - Must be valid and accessible
- Phone Number - For service notifications
- Password - Strong and secure
Password Requirements:
- Minimum 8 characters
- At least one uppercase letter
- At least one lowercase letter
- At least one number
- Special character recommended
Step 2: Email Verification
Verify your email address:
- Check your inbox for verification email
- Look in spam/junk folder if not received
- Click the verification link
- Valid for 24 hours
- Request new link if expired
Step 3: Add Your Location
Enter your primary address:
- Street address
- Apartment/unit number (if applicable)
- City, State, ZIP code
- This helps us match you with nearby Pros
- Can add multiple addresses later
Step 4: Payment Method (Optional)
You can add payment now or later:
- Credit or debit card
- Required before booking services
- Securely encrypted and stored
- Can update anytime
Step 5: Profile Setup
Complete your profile:
- Add profile photo (optional but recommended)
- Set notification preferences
- Review terms and conditions
- Accept privacy policy

Creating a Pro Account
Step 1: Basic Information

- Legal full name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Create password
- Date of birth
- Social Security Number (for background check)
Step 2: Location & Service Area
Set where you'll work:
- Home address
- Primary service area (radius)
- Extended service area (optional)
- Available cities/neighborhoods
Step 3: Background Check
Required for all Pros:
- Provide SSN for verification
- Authorize background check
- Processing time: 5-7 business days
- Must pass to proceed

- Criminal background
- Sex offender registry
- Motor vehicle records (if applicable)
Step 4: Services & Skills
Select your services:
- Choose service categories
- Specify skills and expertise
- Add relevant experience
- Include certifications/licenses
